A Teacher for a Good Life and a Good Death
After Tuesday’s news of the passing of Gelek Rimpoche, we’re of course reflecting on this very special Buddhist teacher, who after fleeing Tibet, went to India and then to Michigan to share the buddhadharma which, as Robert Thurman once wrote, was “in [Rimpoche’s] mind as a philosophy, in his culture as a way of life, and in his blood as an art of living and dying well.” There is perhaps no better way to remember a teacher than through their teachings, so it’s our honor to share with you these three articles by Gelek Rimpoche. May his teachings inspire you as they have so many.
